ISO 22000:2018

FSSC 22000

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is a science-based, systematic, and preventive approach to food safety management that addresses the identification, evaluation, and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards throughout the chain of food production.

ISO 22000:2018, released in June 2018 and supersedes ISO 22000:2015, is a food safety management system required for any organisation in the food chain and is the international standard for food safety management systems.

FSSC 22000 is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognised food safety management system standard. It is essentially the sum of ISO 22000, the sector specific PRPs like ISO/TS 22002-1 and the additional requirements.
