DESTINATION

Coolum is approximately 90 minutes (135 km) north of Brisbane and about 15 km south of Noosa. The resort town is renowned for its quality world-class golf courses and accommodation and is home to a lively cafe and restaurant scene.

Some of the main attractions of Coolum are:

  • Wide-open beaches providing some of the best surf breaks on the Sunshine coast regardless of the weather conditions.These sandy beaches are perfect for the early morning or late afternoon stroll.

The Hyatt Regency Coolum Hotel is situated on Australia's beautiful Sunshine Coast. A resort hotel, set at the base of Mount Coolum, this Sunshine Coast resort covers 150 hectares of exquisitely natural woodlands, bushland, rainforest, wallums and gardens, with the resort hotel fronting onto the Pacific Ocean with 2km of pristine Sunshine Coast.

GETTING THERE

Transfers To Hyatt Regency
You can pre book transfers operated by the Hyatt Regency Coolum, with the BAFA Conference Secretariat. Listed below are the rates:

Sunshine Coast Airport Transfers
Hyatt Regency Coolum can provide a return transfer service from the Sunshine
Coast Airport for $28:00 per adult and $14:00 per child (4 - 14 years).

Brisbane Airport Transfers
SunAir bus service can also provide a transfer service from Brisbane Airport to Hyatt
Regency Coolum for $50:00 per adult one way and $30 per child (4 - 14 years) one way.

Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to book a transfer. We will then be in contact closer to the conference date to collect flight details.

Car Hire
If you would like to hire a car for your stay in Coolum, the major car rental companies are located in the arrivals end of the terminal at Sunshine Coast Airport. Parking is available at the resort complimentary for those who self park, and at a small fee for valet parking.
